Extraordinary Outing in Geocaching – Finding Hidden Treasures

A group of brave Vriendschap Village explorers climbed on the bus and headed towards unknown locations within Pella and the surrounding areas this weekend with the Extraordinary Outing: Geocaching.

Participants who go geocaching use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or mobile device and other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers, called “geocaches” or “caches,” at specific locations marked by coordinates all over the world.

The residents had fun finding the local geocaches and got a treat from the local bakery as well!
