Sometimes it can be difficult maintaining a close relationship with a loved one when they experience memory loss or dementia. The daughter of one of our Gardens residents, Mona, loves to come in and spend quality time with the residents. Making crafts, doing projects, or just simply playing a game with someone who is experiencing memory loss can make a positive impact on their well-being. We are so thankful that Mona takes the time out of her day to visit with all of our Gardens residents.
For anyone that has a family member that has been diagnosed with dementia or any other form of memory loss, you are not alone. If you are looking for more support, we co-host a Dementia Support Group on the third Tuesday of each month and everyone is welcome to attend.
