The entire week is loaded with fun before the holiday for staff at Vriendshcap Village. Monday the management team provided a Pot Luck for care associates, and everyone participated in Pajama Day by wearing their cozy Pjs to work. Residents had a good chuckle, having to take an extra glance at the attire.
Last week the Rozenboom Trio blessed us with their harmonies during a Christmas performance. Despite one of their vocalists being out recovering from being sick, their trusty piano player stepped in an didn't miss a beat! We continue add festive decorations to adorn our community for the holidays. Residents used their art skills to create beautiful paper snowflakes to decorate part of our building. They also made candy cane ornaments using pipe cleaners to put on our Christmas trees and decorate their individual apartments.
Students, parents and teachers from Pella home school, Classical Conversation, recently visited Vrienschap Village.
