Vriendschap Tour of Wreaths

Vriendschap Village held their annual tour of wreaths this week. Staff and residents decorated themed wreaths throughout the building. Residents also decorated their doors with wreaths and doorsteps for the holidays. There was holiday foods for all the local entertainment.

Homeschool Group Sing Carols for Residents

Vriendschap residents were treated to caroling by a local homeschool group. Over 40 kids and parents sang selections for the residents. Thanks so much kids for spreading holiday joy.

Coffee and Ice Cream Outing to La Rose Marie Bakery in Sully, Iowa

Vriendschap Village residents and staff switched up our monthly ice cream outing to take a trip to the new La Rose Marie Bakery in Sully. What great find and wonderful coffee, hot chocolate and treats. We all left with a much sweeter tooth!

Resident Birthday and Anniversary Party

Vriendschap Village held it’s August Resident Birthday and Anniversary Party on Wednesday. Residents were treated to birthday cake with ice cream and refreshments. American Gothic House and Museum Outing

Residents and staff traveled to Eldon, Iowa to visit the American Gothic House and Museum. There they learned about Grant Wood, the artist and more about the famous painting. The also bought items from the gift shop to remember the trip by. It was a great trip and wonderful memories were made.
